On November 24th we will recognize the new babies and families in our church with a parent/child dedication. This event is an opportunity for families to commit to the church to teach their children, and it allows the church an opportunity to commit to help the families in their raising of the next generation.
If you are new to our church, or you still feel new, please come to the newcomer cafe after church on Sept 29. This will be your chance to get to know some of the leaders in the church, ask questions, and get connected with other new people. We'll have some delicious donuts for you.
CoaH Brighton officially launched on September 1st, and we are so excited to see all that the Lord will do in and through this family of believers.
Every year on September 1st over 300,000 people move in and around the city of Boston. Every year people from City on a Hill go out in their community and simply offer help move people into their new homes. It is one of the most tangible ways for our church to serve the entire city, all at once.
We're doing this picnic/kickball game with CTK because we want to partner together with them to serve the neighborhood. They're a church that strongly believes the gospel, and it would be good for us to get to know one another at least a little so that we can better partner for the flourishing of Somerville.
Join us on June 16th for a baptism celebration and a church-wide meal afterwards! The church will be providing all the food, so you just need to join us after for a great time to fellowship and celebrate what God has done and what he is going to be do!

Biblical Counselor Ed Welch will be speaking at Hope Fellowship’s Men’s Conference this March to help us understand our anger. He will help us dissect the anger in our hearts. But most importantly, he will point us back to the Prince of peace who frees us to live in peace, patience and humility again.
